Planned on running 12 today but hamstring started to act up a couple miles into the run so I cut it short.  It looks like the 1/2 marathon on Sat is going to be an exciting adventure.

Ran a big mile to see how my hamstring is doing.  Felt the pain starting to grow so I stopped.  This is going to be an interesting Provo 1/2 on Sat.

Great race.  First half marathon and I loved it.  I really liked running down the canyon and on the paved trail.  There was beauty all around!!

 The first 10 miles I felt really good and was really enjoying myself.  However the rest of it I was struggling just to keep running.  I definely need to run some more miles next time I do one of these.  My hamstring started to bother me a little in the second mile but then went away.  Very fun race.

 I think the race clock was about a minute slow.  Did anyone else notice that?  Can't wait for the chubby melt next week.  It better be good.

What great weather to run.  Felt nice and cool.  Can't wait until the fall gets here.  My left calve started to tighten up again toward the end of my run.  I assume that will get better the more consistent I do these longer runs on Saturday.
